I'll try to keep an eye out for news of shark activity in my area. Fortunately, I've not heard of any recent attacks around here, compared with the annual attacks on surfers off the east cost of Florida.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08870531778980026015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687984134709490723.post-84421426161062495042008-08-27T14:11:00.000-07:002008-08-27T14:11:00.000-07:00Thanks for the welcome back!Just a R.F. - glad to ...Thanks for the welcome back!

Just a R.F. - glad to hear you're being so active. Good luck with your last month of prep for that race. Wish I could tackle something like that. Maybe next year.

Anne, I'm pretty sure the Niantic Bay 10k course must be very close if not adjacent to where the triathlon was held. Who knows, maybe I'll get to run that same 10k sometime. :-)Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08870531778980026015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687984134709490723.post-45266356472473848862008-08-26T20:39:00.000-07:002008-08-26T20:39:00.000-07:00I wonder if the triathlon was near where my friend...I wonder if the triathlon was near where my friends and I ran the Niantic Bay 10k last summer. Open water swimming makes me uneasy, especially since someone was eaten by a great white shark here several months ago. Be careful out there.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377440606704745517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687984134709490723.post-44472177287974498642008-08-26T19:40:00.000-07:002008-08-26T19:40:00.000-07:00Glad to see you back, Jeff, and that you're gettin...Glad to see you back, Jeff, and that you're getting back out there, despite the jellies. :)

I was wondering though if you had fallen off the face of the earth like 6 a.m. Running, whom I haven't seen in a while, but I kept you in my reader anyway. I'm getting a little more active too now, waking at 5:30 a.m. and running by 6:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Next big race: Only about a month away, 24.9 mile trail hike. Yikes!

Hope to see more of you here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
